Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a parallel moving device which does not produce any noise by transmitting the revolutions of drive rollers to a belt by the two parallel drive rollers and a free roller received by these rollers so that power is surely transmitted.
CONSTITUTION: Parallel drive rollers 4, 5 of the same diameter are turned in the same direction of a reversible drive device 6. A free roller 7 of a diameter larger than the gap between these rollers 4, 5 is supported by the rollers 4, 5 parallel to the rollers 4, 5. Hence, a high-tensile metal belt 9 is closely contacted with the surfaces of rollers 4, 5 via the roller 7 and the revolutions of the rollers 4, 5 are transmitted surely to the belt 9 by friction.
