Abstract
PURPOSE: To attain to the continuous operation of the apparatus by maintaining a heat exchanging element of a heat exchanger at a m.p. of NH3NO3 or more, pref., a decomposition temp. thereof or more in the titled treating system and preventing said heat exchanger from being clogged.
CONSTITUTION: A waste gas outlet of a waste gas heating apparatus 6 and the inlet of the heat exchanger receiving the waste gas from a water washing tower 2 of the heat exchanger 5 are connected by a bypass pipe 13 and the heat exchanging element of the heat exchanger 5 is maintained at an m.p. of NH3NO3 or more, pref., a decomposition temp. or more to prevent the heat exchanger 5 from being clogged and the apparatus is continuously operated. For example, a pipe passage 3 connecting the water washing tower 2 and the heat exchanger 5 and a pipe passage 7 of the waste gas outlet of the heating apparatus 6 are connected by a bypass pipe 13 and the heated waste gas is supplied to the waste gas inlet portion of the heat exchanger by controlling a waste gas bypass damper 13a.
