Abstract

PURPOSE:To minimize an effect of an indoor thermal load or variation in surrounding air condition and a power consumption in a system in which a part of the surrounding air is introduced to perform a cooling in the room by a method wherein the surrounding air intake damper is controlled in response to a comparison between the enthalpy of the surrounding air and a predetermined enthalpy. CONSTITUTION:Air circulation pipe 17 is connected to the room 11, other separate surrounding air feeding pipe 18 and the air circulation pipe 17 are connected to the filter box 12, and the cooling coil 13, blower 14, air feeding pipe 15 are connected to the room 11 to constitute an air flowing circuit. In operation, a predetermined value of enthalpy and a measured value are compared by enthalpy adjustor means 21 having a sensor unit in the pipe 18, and an electric damper 22 is controlled by an output proportional to a difference of the above value. That is, the damper 22 closes the pipe 18 when the enthalpy of the surrounding air is higher than the predetermined enthalpy, and in turn when the enthalpy is lower than the measured value, the pipe 17 is closed. Control over a temperature in the room is performed by controlling a temperature adjustment valve 20 in the coolant passage with a temperature adjustor 19 having a thermo-sensing part near the suction inlet of the pipe 17.
