Furthermore, in a pasted lead storage battery, the thickness of the plate including the positive active material is preferred to be not less than 2mm.. Here, the volume of the holes of the positive active material after a chemical treatment is preferably should be not more than 50% of the whole positive active material. Besides, it is preferred that the volume proportion of the inner holes is smaller than that of the surface holes.
