Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to know the direction even during running, by the digital display of the phase difference between the AC electromotive force obtained from the coil rotated around the vertical rotating shaft in the magnetic field of earth magnetism and the synchronizing signal of the same cycle, as the angle between the reference direction and the earth magnetism.
CONSTITUTION: The coil 2 is rotated around the vertical shaft in the magnetic field of earth magnetism to generate the AC electromotive force with the horizontal component of the earth magnetism, it is converted into the 1st rectangular wave of 1/2 cycle and 1 of duty ratio and input to DFF25. On the other hand, from the synchronizing signal generator having the shutter 7 and the photocoupler 8, the synchronizing signal with the same cycle obtained from the same revolution and shifted by θ in the phase difference, is input to DFF25 and the 2nd rectangular wave is obtained from the Q output terminal. The 1st rectangular wave is fed to the integration type A/D converter 30 and the AND output of the 1st and 2nd rectangular waves is fed, respectively via the low pass filter (LPF)29 and LPF28 as the reference and converted voltage, allowing to digitally display 31 the phase difference θ degrees as the angle between the reference direction and the earth magnetism, in 360° full-scale.
