Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable medium constrast recording and recording of connected lines by disposing a light source array and a focusing type optical fiber bundle to a photosensitive surface, with deviation from the imaging position and enabling the effective diameter of the image to be controlled by the intensity of light emission.
CONSTITUTION: Since the spacing between a focusing type fiber bundle 12 and a photosensitive drum 1 is formed to a defocus state of a distance (y) longer than (x) with respect to the spacing (x) between a light emitting part 10 and the focusing type fiber bundle 12, it is possible to change the size of the light intensity part necessary for creating an electrostatic latent image of more than the developable threshold value, that is, the effective diameter of the image.
