Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a desired starting advanced angle characteristic by a method wherein a hydraulic control device increasing a hydraulic pressure so as to position a piston at a position whereat the starting advanced angle necessary for a starting time is provided, is equipped is this system.
CONSTITUTION: The system is constituted so that lubricating oil 16 pressurized by a pump 17 is supplied to an oil path 20 having a pipe 13 and a solenoid valve 18 through a choke 19 and further an oil path 24 having a solenoid valve 22 and an oil sending pump 23 is provided in parallel with the oil path 20. The adjustment of the opening degree of the solenoid valve 18 is effected by the first control signal from the first control device 31 so that a difference between an actual advanced angle and an objective advanced angle will become zero. On the other hand, the opening and closing of the solenoid valve 22 is controlled by the second control signal from the second control device 32 so as to position the piston 7 at the position whereat the starting advanced angle necessary for the starting time is provided.
