Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the heat press and the varnish impregnating treatment of a single coil unit for a stator coil by winding a prepreg associated mica tape formed with a heat shrinkable lining material on a conductor with the lining material at the outside, inserting it into a slot and then energizing and heating it. CONSTITUTION:After a thermosetting resin 2 is coated on the surface of a heat shrinkable lining material 4 and an associated mica foil 3 is superposed on the material 4, the prepreg of the resin 2 is performed without losing the heat shrinkability of the material 4, and a prepreg associated mica tape or sheet 1 is formed. This tape is wound on the outer periphery of a conductor 12 shaped in a coil shape with the material 4 at the outside, and a ground insulating layer 13 of a stator coil 11 is formed. After the coil 11 is inserted into a slot 21a, it is energized and heated, the material 4 is thermally shrinked, and the operation equivalent to the heat press can be performed.
