Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to install the rolled paper easily by a method wherein at least two supporting rollers for supporting and rotating the rolled paper are provided, the starting end part of the rolled paper is automatically separated from the outside periphery of the rolled paper and is delivered to a printing section.
CONSTITUTION: The rolled paper 1 comprising continuous printing paper wound around a rolling core 2 is supported by the supporting rollers 4, 5 the axes of which are rotatably supported by a side wall 3, and a taking-out guide 10 for the starting end of the rolled paper is provided, with its tip end part 10a pressed against the outside periphery of the rolled paper 1 by a spring 11. After the rolled paper 1 is used up and a detecting switch 14 operates, a guide lever 24 is tilted backwardly so that the rolling core 2 is discharged by the lever 24. When a new rolled paper 1 is installed, the lever 24 is returned to the position indicated by solid lines and the rolled paper 1 is restricted in moving rightwards and is supported by the rollers 4, 5. Then, when a switch 33 is operated, the rolled aper 1 rolls on the rollers 4, 5 and when its tip end part reaches the guide 10, the tip end part is separaed from the outside periphery of the rolled paper 1 and is fed to fixed- feed rollers 25, 26 through a pinch roller 9. After a predetermined period of time has passed, motors 8, 31 are stopped through the operation of a detecting switch 32.
