Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a head unit small-sized and to improve maintenablity and reliability by a method wherein a heating element is provided on a glazed ceramic substrate and a control circuit is made hybrid on the same substrate. CONSTITUTION:The heating zone 32 has a heating resistor in the form of a thin film provided on one side of a glazed ceramic substrate 31 and the control circuit 33 controlling said heating element 32 is of a hybrid circuit and protected by a cover body 34. The thermosensitive recording head 6 is fixed by a metal fixture 13a through an elastic member 12 like a rubber plate etc. The spring 16 is fixed by a metal fixture 13b on the upper surface of a metal supporter 11 to revolve the metal supporter 11 for the head and the thermosensitive recording head 6. The tip end of the thermosensitive recording paper 2' cut by a cutter and fed between the thermosensitive recording head 6 and a driving roller 7 for pressing is pressed to the side of said roller 7 to continue the printing.
