Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce operating time required for engine starting by making it possible to restart immediately even a compressor equipped with a large air tank.
CONSTITUTION: A pressure required for opening a pressure regulator valve 50 is set to the same pressure for a pressure control valve 14 or less, and the valve closing pressure is set to the pressure higher than that of the pressure regulator valve 14. Therefore, if the pressure is lowered due to the consumption of the compressed fluid inside a large air tank, the pressure regulator valve 50 is closed sooner and forces nonload operation of a fuel supply system 43 to be restarted in an early stage through an operating system 35. When the pressure inside the air tank 8 is lowered, the pressure regulator valve 14 is closed. When a manual valve opening system 24 is operated in this case, the compressed fluid is fed into an unloader system 9 through a branch pipe 51 and the compressor 1 is placed into nonload operating condition. When a regulator handle 44 is then shifted from the stop position to the start position, the engine can run immediately. Since a quick restarting operation can be offered, the operating time required for starting the engine can be reduced.
