Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of the undesired waveguide mode within the using frequency band, by inserting the metal plate having the elasticity between the upper and lower earth conductors and at the position where no contact is given to the central conductor. CONSTITUTION:Metal plates 7a, 7b and 7c having the elasticity with the cross section of e.g. U-shape are inserted between earth conductors 3a and 3b and at the position where no contact is given to central conductor 1 comrising the branch lines and the junction part. Thus the conducting connection is given between the earth conductors. This is equivalent to the fact that the size is reduced for the cavity resonator consisting of housing 5 plus conductors 3a and 3b. As a result, the resonance frequency of the undersired waveguide mode caused by housing 5 can be shifted out of the using frequency band of the circulator. In such way, the occurrence of the undesired waveguide mode can be prevented.
