Abstract
PURPOSE: To directly sample B lymph cells easily with good purity by putting a sample splitting agent which is a granular hydrophobic solid material contg. specific equivalent of acidic functional groups into a vessel and allowing the same to contact white blood-corpuscle suspention.
CONSTITUTION: A hydrophobic solid material (e.g.; the condensate of phenol sulfonic acid, formaldehyde and phenol) cotg. 0.1W1.2m equivalent/ml acidic functional groups is formed to a granular shape whereby the sample splitting agent is prepd. This sample splitting agent 5 is put into a column 3 having an inlet 1 and outlet 2 for liquid and a filter 4. The white blood-corpsucle suspension prepd. by using a soln. contg. protein is injected into this column 3 and unstuck white blood- corpuscles are washed out with washing liquid after a fixed time and further they are washed out with washing liquid under exertion of impact or external force, whereby B lymph cell suspension is obtained. The resultant B lymph cells have no decrease in their functions in immunological function examinations for juvenilizing ability, antibody producing ability, etc., and are sufficiently usable as a specimen for measuring HLA.
