Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform program system automatic exposure controlling with simple construction by magnetizing an electromagnet according to the brightness of the subject, and controlling the extent of operation of an aperture lever by the magnetic force of a permanent magnet opposing thereto.
CONSTITUTION: According to the brightness of the subject, a control circuit controls the electric current supplying of the electromagnet 17 of an aperture control mechanism. When the subject is bright, electric current is flowed to the electromagnet 17 which in turn causes a suction piece 21 to be sucked to the electromagnet 17 and a suction piece 23 to be repulsed. A detaining lever 16 is turned around a stationary pin 24. Consequently, when an aperture ring 13 is turned, the end of the detaining lever 16 contactually touches the step part on the inner side of a staircase part 13 and does not open the aperture too much because of the small extent of movement of the aperture ring 13. When the subject is of ordinary brightness, no electric current is supplied to the electromagnet 17. The detaining lever 16 is then maintained in an equilibrium state and the extent of the movement of the aperture ring 13 becomes of a medium degree. When it is dark, electric current is supplied in the reverse direction and the aperture ring 13 moves in a large extent, thereby opening the aperture fully. Thus, the exposure may be automatically controlled with the simple construction.
