Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain recording at high density, high pictorial quality and high speed through a few buffer memories and a simple control circuit by a method wherein a recording signal to which a different delay time is given is impressed on a plural recording elements.
CONSTITUTION: An image data signal a read on a reading head is inputted to a shift register 20 correspondingly to a synchronizing signal according to rotations of a reading drum, and a shift register transmitting clock signal fr is impressed on shift registers 20W23 in the timing of b from a timing generating circuit 31. Then, a transmitting clock signal fr/3 is impressed in shift registers 23W27 through a signal line 42 and also impressed on a rotation driving gear of a recording drum to control the rotational speed. Then, outputs of the registers 20W22 are put out in the timing of c, d, e, signals inputted to the registers 23W25 are put out in the timing of g, h, i, a signal 1/3 of an input data signal is impressed on a nozzle A and a signal 1/3 of the input data signal on a nozzle B respectively by the register 27 delayingly by 7 clocks of the clock signal f, and said signal is inputted to a nozzle C delayingly by 14 clocks.
