Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily perform a correcting operation of a balance by a method wherein a plurality of holes are perforated in a checking plate on an end surface of a rotor, and balance weights are inserted into the holes at spots where the dynamic unbalances of the rotor have been detected and collapsed. CONSTITUTION:The plurality of the drill holes 13 are perforate in the rotor checking plate 12 contacted to the end surface of the rotor iron core 1. The drill holes 13 are perferred to be made the holes tapered in such that the inside dimension is larger than the inlet dimension. Then, the rotor is rotated, the balance weight pieces 14 being inserted into the holes 13 at the spots dynamically unbalanced and collapsed with a press bonding tool 15 to cause the balance weight pieces 14 to be stationed inside the holes 13. The balance weight pieces 14 of more than two are used in piles according to the conditions of the unbalance. Whereby auxiliary members of screws and the like are not required and the balance correcting operations are easy to be performed.
