Abstract

PURPOSE:To change-over control the ignition time depending upon kinds of fuels by a method wherein an ignition time changing over device is provided which feeds as an input either of the first or second ignition signal having a proceeding characteristic suitable for the combustion of fuels, on receiving an operation signal of a fuel changing over device. CONSTITUTION:The 1st pick-up coil 3A for taking out the 1st ignition signal suitable for the combustion of LPG fuel and the 2nd pick-up coil 3B for taking out the 2nd ignition signal suitable for the combustion of gasoline are provided faced to a rotor 2 in a distributor 1. The coils 3A, 3B are connected to a primary side of an ignition coil 6 through a change-over circuit 4 for changing over the ignition time and an amplifier circuit 5. When a fuel changing-over switch 10 is in OFF state, the 1st ignition signal is not transmitted to the amplifier circuit 5, while the 2nd ignition signal only is transmitted to the amplifier circuit.
