Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a reception of a specified TV signal as well as its charging, by receiving a scrambled TV signal and then actuating a descramble circuit with detection of a charged broadcast discrimination signal sent through a telephone circuit along with its charging. CONSTITUTION:The terminal controller 22 which designates the charged broadcast channel with the keyboard 23 controls the terminal discrimination signal (TID) generating circuit 24 to produce the TID of own terminal plus charged braodcast service request signal to then send them to the subcenter 4 from the interface circuit 25 through the telephone circuit 26. The center 4 confirms the TID and then stores it in the PID memory 31 of a receiving device via the circuit 26. A coincidence is obtained between the PID and that in the reception TV signal, and the vertical synchronous signal is inserted at the vertical synchronous signal inserting circuit 36 to reproduce the scrambled signal. At the same time, the charge integrating circuit 39 is operated by the charge code signal CID which is added into the TV signal.
