Abstract
PURPOSE: To control the increase and decrease of the quantity of filament stored highly efficient by a mechanism wherein a rotary arm with a return pulley of a linear body is put between the roll-in drum and a forwarding drum oppositely arranged on the same axle.
CONSTITUTION: A drum 2 at the roll-in side is mounted to a foundation base 1 in a revolution-possible shape, and driven by means of a hollow shaft 9. A drum 3 at the forwarding side is similarly installed to the foundation base 1 in a coaxial and revolution-possible shape at the one side of the drum 2 while facing to the drum 2, and a rotary arm 4 is supported between the both drums 2, 3 in a revolution-possible shape. When reception from the downstream is suspended and the quantity of a filament W stored increases, the rotary arm 4 revolves in the arrow head A direction, and receiving speed exceeds roll-in speed to the drum 2 at the roll-in side; when the quantity of the filament sotred conversely decreases, the arm 4 rotates in the arrow head B direction. Thus, the variation of the quantity of the body stored can be controlled if adjusting the direction of rotation and the quantity of revolution of the arm 4.
