Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the simple, small-size and noise-less copying machine by integrating photoelectric transducers, memory device, driving circuit, recording elements and control switches, etc.
CONSTITUTION: When the original is photo-scanned by the light sources 10a, 10b of the copying machine body 3 which may be operated like a pencil, the reflected light from the original is received in a plurality of photoelectric transducers 7 and is thereby converted to picture signals, after which the signals are controlled by the driving circuit being applied with the clock of the frequency corresponding to the scanning speed of the body 3 through adjustment of a switch, whereby the image signals are written in a memory circuit. When the recording mode is set by chaging over the switch, the storage contents of the memory circuit are similarly read out by way of the driving circuit and are applied to the plural heating resistance elements 5 forming the recording elements, whereby copying of the original images by thermal recording is accomplished. These photoelectric transducers, memory circuit, driving circuit, recording elements, control switches, etc. are integrally contained in the body. This makes the constitution of the copying apparatus small and simple and obviates production of any noise during use because of less mechanical parts.
