Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve easier electrode exchanging by coupling and fixing the positioning members which have beforehand been mounted to discharge electrode bars to the positioning portions provided to discharge electrode support parts. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 2, 2' are held fixed respectively to electrode support parts 4, 5 and the electrode support parts 4, 5' are held fixed to an electrode-supporting base board 9. Further the electrode-supporting base board 9 is held fixed together with fiber support bases 3, 3' to a base board 10. The base board 10 is held fixed by means of knock pins and bolts to a fusion-welding connector body 11. To exchange the electrodes, the knock pins and bolts fixed to the fusion-welding connector body 11 are removed and the cassette integrally assembled with the parts 2, 2', 3, 3', 4, 5, 9, 10 is exchanged as it is. Hence, the exchange work of the electrodes may be readily accomplished.
