Abstract

PURPOSE:To miniaturize the device, and to reduce cost, by radially mounting a plurality of flow cells into a hollow, ring-shaped heat insulating tank, to whose center a light source is disposed, and by installing photo-multiplier for measuring the strength of transmitted light at the sides reverse to the flow cells. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of reaction pipes 25 housing liquids to be measured 24 are arranged into a reaction tank 21 that keeps a plurality of the liquids to be measured, to which reagents of every kind are added, at the normal temperature and reacts them. A light source 34 of a light source system is disposed to a central cavity portion 33 of a hollow, circular heat insulating tank 30, and a plurality of flow cells 35 for circulating the liquids 24 to be measured are radially arranged into the heat insulating tank 30 in shapes that are faced to the light source 34. A plurality of photo-malls 41 are disposed on an outer circumferential surface of the heat insulating tank 30 in shapes that are opposed to the flow cells 35. Thus, the device can be miniaturized and cost can be reduced because the liquids are measured only by means of one light source and one heat insulating tank without regard to the number of items to be measured.
