Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate a motor-produced torque at the time of switching a conversion device, by shifting the ingnition positions in the direction of γ limit at the time of switching inverter operation and converter operation in the anti-parallel thyristor Leonard system.
CONSTITUTION: When DC motor 10 is controlled by the anti-parallel thyristor Leonard system by using No.1 and No.2 thyristor conversion devices 7 and 8, output 4a of current amplifier control circuit 4 and output 16a of phase control bias setting circuit 16 are inputted to phase control circuit 6 in the control circuit. At the time of switching inverter operation and converter operation, phase control bias setting circuit 16 sets thyristor ignition positions γ1, α1 by shifting them by Δγ and Δα to the side of γ limit. By this, it is possible to eliminate a motor-produced torque at the time of conversion, inconvenient for an elevator, for example.
