Abstract

PURPOSE:Metal anticorrosives, for such as iron base etc., having no toxicity and superior effect by using a small quantity, obtained by constituting aliphatic dicarboxylic acids and their salts, nitrites and molybdic acid salts as available components. CONSTITUTION:More than one kind of saturated or unsaturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acids, such as glutaric acid etc., or their salts, nitrites, such as sodium nitrite etc., and molybdic acid salts, such as sodium molybdate etc., are mixed at a ratio of 10:1-1:10. About 1-5000ppm of the above anticorrosives are added to water. Anticorrosion in aqueous system containing both steel and copper, is carried out effectively by adding triazoles etc. to the above anticorrosives. Also, scale preventing agent or dispersing agent etc., are able to add at the same time.
