Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve productivity as a result of a runner being prevented from being formed and as a result of gate traces of the molded product being also rectified, by cutting the resin by means of both a nozzle edge and a nozzle pin after filling a cabity of a molding die with the resin. CONSTITUTION:When a cavity 38 is filled with the molten resin, the resin is fed from a gate 31 of a nozzle pin 15 being exposed from a nozzle port 19, the gate 31 being drawn is a nozzle proper 1 after filling with the resin. The resin is cut by means of both a nozzle port edge and the nozzle pin 15, gate traces being rectified by means of the nozzle pin 15. The nozzle 15, whose end serves as a valve 25, is inserted into the nozzle proper 14, the valve 25 being slidably and closely fitted in the nozzle port 19. The gate 31 connected to a resin feeding passage 30 is provided at an outside circumference in the nozzle proper 14 of the valve 25. The portion ranging from the gate to the point of the nozzle pin serves as a rectifying part which rectifies the gate traces of the molded product when the nozzle pin 15 restores to its original position.
