Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a molded article with excellent heat and chemical resistance, high elastic recovery, etc., by irradiating an ionizing radiation to a molded product of a polyether-ester block copolymer composed of specific ester unit and ether-ester unit to effect crosslinking.
CONSTITUTION: The objective molded article can be obtained by irradiating an ionizing radiation such as X-ray, α-ray, γ-ray, etc., to a molded product of a polyether-ester block copolymer to effect crosslinking. Said copolymer is composed of (A) ester units derived from an acid component consisting chiefly of aromatic dicarboxylic acids and a glycol component consisting mainly of low molecular weight 2W10C glycols, and (B) ether-ester units derived from an acid component consisting chiefly of aromatic dicarboxylic acids and a poly(oxyalkylene) glycol component with an average molecular weight of 350W6,000 and a number ratio C/H of 2W 10.5/1, with the component (B) accounting for 5W85wt%.
