Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency by preventing frosting during the heating while reducing the effect of the drop in the temperature of outdoor air in a cooling/heating apparatus having a heat pump system and a prime mover system using a working fluid.
CONSTITUTION: In the refrigeration cycle operation, refrigerant circulates through the route of a compressor 1, a four-way valve 12, an outdoor air heat exchanger 2, a check valve 13, a receiver 14, an expansion valve 3, an indoor heat exchanger 4, the four-way valve and the compressor 1 to cool the room air. The compressor 1 is driven by a prime mover 6 in the prime mover cycle. A heating medium in the prime mover cycle, for example, water is fed to a boiler 5 with a pump 8 and evaporated to drive the prive mover 6. After liquified with a condenser 7, exhaust steam is returned to the pump 8. Here, the condenser 7 is equipped with a fin and constructed integral with the outdoor air heat exchanger 2.
