Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a nice pattern where a full pattern and fine lines are mixed in a uniform thickness on a printed body by making a pattern from ink film formed in proportion to the distribution of film thickness on a transfer body and transferring on a printed body the ink film which remains on the transfer body.
CONSTITUTION: Ink film in proportion to a suitable film thickness is formed on a transfer body having on the surface a transfer layer of ink releasing property composed of silicon, fiuorine compounds or their mixture. Then, a pattern is made of the ink film on the transfer body by letting the above-mentioned transfer body touch the surface of an ink removing plate with a desired convex pattern and the ink film transfer onto the convex pattern. The silicones applied include dimettylpolysiloxanes of different molecular weights, methylhydrogenpolysiloxanes etc.
