Abstract

PURPOSE:To control an attitude of a chassis simply and improve a firing accuracy by providing shock absorbers for front or rear wheels with locking mechanisms operable from interior of a cabin in order to stop the functions of the shock absorbers. CONSTITUTION:When a gunner in a tarret 5 puts on a firing switch, a switch 3 cooperating therewith is closed and switch a valve 32. Thereby, compressed air accumulated in a tank 27 is sent to a cylinder 36 and operates a piston 37 which generates a hydraulic pressure. The hydraulic pressure is sent to a pilot circut 23 for shock absorbers 4 through conduit 40 and operates lock valves 22. Then, operating oil circulating circuits 19 are closed and the circulations of the operating oil 16 are cut, and the functions of the shock absorbers are stopped, thereby, the shock absorbers become rigid as rigid bodies. Consequently, the attitude of the chassis may be maintained at constant against any force exerted from outside and a firing accuracy may further be improved.
