Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a polyamide composition having excellent mold release characteristics and giving an injection-molded article free from discoloration, by compounding a polyamide with a specific stearic acid ester.
CONSTITUTION: 100 parts by weight of a polyamide is compounded with 0.01W1, preferably 0.05W0.5 parts by weight of a 10W20C aliphatic primary alcohol ester of stearic acid (pref. lauryl stearate, etc.) by dry blending, etc. and injection-molded. Addition of 0.01W1 parts by weight of calcium stearate, etc. smoothens the biting of the composition into the screw.
