Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a DC motor which is large in the effective conductor length of a rotor, small in the mass and high in revolutional efficiency by setting up a molded wound rotor which is fixed to its rotary shaft through the gaps on both sides of the magnetic pole composed of permanent magnets.
CONSTITUTION: Field magnets 2 composed of permanent magnets are set up in a bearing and in the gaps fitted on the upper, lower and cirumferential surfaces is assembled a rotor 1 which is compsoed by heating and molding a themally adhesive conductor. The wound molded rotor 1 is fixed to the rotary shaft 4. Therefore the effective length of the conductor which contributes to the torque of the rotor winding can be increased, the area of the winding part that generates torque of the rotor accoring to the magnetic flux detected can be expanded and the mass of the rotor 1 can be decreased. Thus, a DC motor excellent in rotary efficiency can be obtained.
