Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect a doze driving precisely by detecting the dozing state on the basis of yawing and changes of horizontal G.
CONSTITUTION: When a yawing or a horizontal-G signal 1a is outputted by a detecting part 1, it is compared with a previously fixed value by a level-decision circuit 2, and when it surpasses the value, a pulse 2a of the surpassed time width is outputted. The pulse 2a is inputted into a pulse-generating circuit 3 and a time-set circuit 4; the pulse-generating circuit 3 detects the rise and fall of the pulse 2 to output a pulse 3a, and the time-set circuit 4 detects the rise of the pulse 2 to output a pulse 4a during a previously fixed time. These pulses 3a and 4a are inputted into a switch circuit 5, and the pulse 3a is permitted to pass only when the pulse 4a is on. A pulse 5a passed through a switch circuit 5 is inputted into an alarm circuit 5', which outputs an doze signal 5a' when two pulses 5a are received within a time set in the circuit 4.
