Abstract
PURPOSE: To make the treatment by the permeable membranes of the dehydrated separating liquid easy and improve chromaticity and removal rate of phosphoric acid by providing anaerobic fermentation process to the fore-stage of nitrification-denitrification process, adding cationic macromolecular flocculant to the effluent after the denitrification and subjecting the same to dehydration.
CONSTITUTION: Organic waste water 1 such as night soil is let into an anaerobic fermentation part 2 and is let to stay there together with returned activated sludge 4, after which it is sent to a biological denitrifying part 5 and nitrifying part 7 where it is treated to let phosphorus be over-ingested in the activated sludge of effluent water. This is sent to a solid-liquid separating part 3 and the flocculant 11 containing cationic macromolecular flocculant is added to the mixed liquid 10 of this separated water 8 and excess sludge and the mixed liquid is dehydrated by a dehydrator 12. This dehydrated separation liquid 14 is removed of colloidal dyes, BOD, COD, organic N, etc. owing to the flocculation with the sluge by the flocculant 11 and is clean, hence it is readily treated by a permeable membrane 15, and thid results in improved flux and makes possible the discharging of the treated water quality.
