Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to use a cheap resonator and oscillate stably with a high frequency, by subjecting the oscillation frequency to feedback control by a PLL circuit. CONSTITUTION:The signal oscillated with frequency f1 by oscillation element 13 is stabilized to a certain degree by resonator 12. A part of f1 is input to the second oscillator 17 through line 21 by directional coupler 14, and a frequency is oscillated with f2=f1/N (N is a natural number), and this output is input to PLL circuit 18. This input frequency and the reference frequency of the crystal oscillator in PLL circuit 18 are compared with each other, and the DC voltage of their difference is applied to varactor diode 22 for resonance frequency adjustment through line 20, thus keeping frequency change of oscillation frequency f1 similar to the reference crystal frequency.
