Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable test running or the position adjustment of feed bars to be accomplished as desired by providing the driving mechanism which revolves only the shaft on the transfer side to the drive shaft of transfer. CONSTITUTION:When the transfer device is going to be independently run, the press operation is stopped, i.e., a drive shaft (input side) 8 is in a stopped state. Thereupon, when a motor 11 is run, the output side drive shaft 9 is revolved by way of gears 12, 13, gear case 18 and bevel gears 16, 17(15) (so called differential gear mechanism) and therefore the transfer device 4 may be operated while the press is not running.
