Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate generation of radiation sound occurred at a vibrating glass for an automotive stationary window by providing a cushioning unit continued in bent manner to a weather strip for connecting an automotive body to the glass.
CONSTITUTION: A cushioning unit 4c is provided between the automotive body mounting portion 4a of a weather strip and a glass mounting portion 4b in a shape continued in bent manner between the end 4d of the mounting portion 4a and the end 4e of the mounting portion 4b. A lip 4f is formed at the end 4e of the mounting portion 4b to make contact with an outer panel 2. Accordingly, the automotive body 1 is integrally formed with the mounting portion 4a of the weather strip 4 and a glass 5 is integrally formed with the mounting portion 4b of the weather strip 4 against vibtation. Thus, the vibration is absorbed at the cushioning unit 4c thus continued in bent manner.
