Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to generate an absence detection signal when the pulse output of a pulse detector is absent by providing an auxiliary pulse detector opposing to a pulse disk prescrived-interval away from a pulse detector and then by making a comparison between output pulses of two detectors.
CONSTITUTION: Pulse generators 2 and 3 are provided with auxiliary pulse generators 12 and 13 and the absence of a pulse is judged from whether an output pulse is obtained from the cascade connection circuit of coincidence pulse eliminating circuits 14 and 34, and alternate pulse eliminating circuits 18 and 38. Namely, both pulses of pulse generators 2 and 3, and auxiliary pulse generators 12 and 13 are compared and eliminated and when they can not be eliminated, the absence of the pulse is judged. Consequently, malfunction of a pulse transmitter can be detected securely and immediately.
