Abstract
PURPOSE: To make accurately corrections of variation in shading waveform, etc., by sequentially storing shading waveforms in RAM, etc., over an original read and by reading and correcting contents of the memory at the time of photoelectric conversion on the original surface.
CONSTITUTION: The output of clock frequency generator 10 is applied to frequency counter 11, which outputs address signals via switch S operation synchronizing with the scan of a photoelectric element, and divided and the division output is supplied to change-over switch 8 synchronizing with the photoelectric element scan. The waveforms of the photoelectric element, divided by resistances R1 to R8, are sequentially extracted by switch 8 and then supplied to voltage comparator 9. The other input terminal of this comparator 9 is applied with a fixed threshold voltage developed by variable resistor VR, and over an original read, the part of the level more than the threshold level is applied to adder 12 which sums up the outputs of comparator 9 and RAM12 and then writes the sum to RAM13. During the photoelectric conversion, the contents of RAM13 are read out and the shading correction of a part with variation in waveform is done.
