Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a heat-insulating panel for a refrigerator or the like, by attaching foaming jigs to thin plates, securing the jigs on each other with a clamp member and pouring and foaming a synthetic resin so that the tentative assembly of the thin plates and the jigs can be easily conveyed or stored.
CONSTITUTION: The side edges 6, 7 of two thin plates 1, 2, which have the same form and are laid in parallel with each other, are bent back. Foaming jigs 3, 4, which have inwardly projecting parts 8, 9 which are fitted between the bent edges 6, 7 of the plates over the total length of the jigs and the plates, are placed on the side edges of the thin plates. The foaming jigs 3, 4 are removably secured on each other by a clamp member 10. A low-foamed synthetic resin is poured into an opening defined by the thin plates 1, 2 and the foaming jigs 3, 4 and is foamed, thereby making a heat-insulating panel. Since the thin plates and the foaming jigs are firmly fixed on one another, the tentative assembly of these members can be easily conveyed or stored. Therefore, the efficiency of work is improved.
