Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to change the radius of curvature arbitrarily, by the wiring from the controllable DC power supply to the piezo-electric constituent attaching a pair of electrodes to the both sides of piezo-electric material layer and laminating the pressure interference body layer to one electrode. CONSTITUTION:The electrodes 3, 3' are attached to the both sides of the layer 2 of piezoelectric material film such as piezo-electric ceramic, and the pressure interference layer 4 made of metal or an arbitrary material is laminated on one electrode 3'. Further, assuming that the electrodes 3, 3' are very thin, the force required for bending is negligible, the piezo-electric material layer 2 has strong piezo-electric constant only toward one direction, and the piezo-electric interference layer 4 does not have piezo-electricity. Next, it is assumed that DC voltage is fed between the electrodes 3, 3' from controllable DC power supply 8 consisting of the voltage amplifier 5, D/A converter 6 and microcomputer 7. Thus, the radius of curvature of the piezoelectric constituent 1 consisting of the piezo-electric material layer 2 and pressure interference layer 4 can arbitrarily be changed through the change in the voltage.
