Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the ground height of a crawler vehicle from altering due to the variations of a crawler tension due to the external force while the vehicle is running by connecting an accumulator circuit between a solenoid control valve and a check valve of the hydraulic oil supply passage to a hydraulic cylinder for controlling the ground height.
CONSTITUTION: The guide wheel 34 of a crawler 32 is supported at 40 by a vehicle body and a rockable arm 38 which is rocked by a hydraulic cylinder 36 to thereby alter the ground height of a crawler vehicle. If external force is applied to the wheel 34 from an arrow 65 while the vehicle is running with the respective chambers R, H of the cylinder 36 retained with oil, the hydraulic pressure in the chamber H is raised. When the hydraulic pressure in the chamber H is raised higher than predetermined value, the oil is exhausted from a high pressure relief valve 43. If the external force is removed from the vehicle, the oil exhausted from the accumulator 50 through a pressure reducing valve 47 and a pilot operator check valve 46 is supplied to recover it to the original state. Accordingly, it can always automatically retain the crawler tension applied to the wheel 34.
