Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a sufficient sealing effect by covering the side and the circumferential face of a collar with a throttling part, a housing, and a bush part and providing a concave part in the basic side on the low pressure side of the collar.
CONSTITUTION: A throttling part 6 is provided to a housing 1 to form a narrow gap with the circumferential face of a collar 5. There is provided a concave part 7 in the basic side on the low pressure side of the collar 5. In a side part of the collar 5, oil films are formed between the side part of the collar 5, and a housing 1 and a bush part 1 by the centrifugal pumping effect, and a kind of accumulator effect is given in the concave part 7. Consequently, leakages are perfectly prevented by the closed loop given by oil films even in the high speed rotation.
