Abstract
PURPOSE: To stabilize the temperature characteristics of a microwave component by additionally providing a heater for heating the component and a stabilized temperature control circuit for controlling the heater upon detection of the relative temperature.
CONSTITUTION: A bracket 2 secured to a hosuing varies its temperature as the atmospheric temperature increases or decreases. The temperature variation is detected by a control circuit which consists of a thermistor 4, a level detector 7, a thermal switch 8, and a power transistor 5, etc. to thereby turn the current of the heater 3 using a nichrome wire or the like OFF or ON. When the heater 3 is turned ON, the heat is transmitted to the bracket 2 to heat a microwave oscillator 1. When the oscillator 1 becomes suitable temperature, it is detected by the thermistor 4 thereby stop heating. The constant temperature is retained at the oscillator by repeating the above operations. In this case, the heat generated at the power transistor 5 also helps the heating of the oscillator 1. Various methods can be employed to mount the bracket 2, heater 3, thermistor 4, and power transistor 5.
