Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the economy and reliability of a train number display system which shifts and stores train number when a train moves on a railway in monitoring area, and shifts and displays it in the display window on a display panel.
CONSTITUTION: This train number display system has a train number memory area for storing the train number information t of a moving train and a train position memory area for storing the position information p of the train in the respective addresses a on a memory table, shifts and stores the train position information in response to the position of the moved train, and displays the train number in the display window on a display panel corresponding to the position. Even if there are 500 of the display windows in case of 32 of the number of the trains in the same existing lines, it can display them in a memory of 32 words each having 21 bits of 12 of decimal 3-digit train information and 9 of position information according to this configuration in extremely economic manner.
