Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent high pressure leak in such a way that sliding surface of a coil packing is brought into contact with the opposite surface by self-fastening force of the coil packing which coil packing having different winding diameter is put closely together in multi-loops with use of fluidic pressure.
CONSTITUTION: An element coil 1 is cut off in a desired thickness, a coil packing 5 is formed which a coil 3 with ground sectional surface 2 ar a desired precision is brought into close contact with a coil 4 similar thereto but with different winding diameter to the inside of the coil 3 by self-fastening force and self-tensile force of each coil, which are rigged onto a plunger 7 in two tiers. A ring seat 8 is inserted for the purpose of improving the seal condition of the coil packing 5 with the seat surface 9 of the plunger 7, and the coil packing 5 is forcibly pressed down to the ring seat 8 with use of countersunk springs 10.
