Abstract
PURPOSE: A foamed styrene plate is laminated with the surface material through an adhesive layer of an amino-urethane resin to produce said laminates with high adhesion strength and durability without the evolution of gases during operations.
CONSTITUTION: At least one surface of styrene foamed plates if laminated through an adhesive layer 2 of amino-urethane resin which is mainly composed of an aqueous solution of formaldehyde condensation resin and an isocyanate compound with surface material 3 such as metal or synthetic resin plate to produce said laminate. The adhesive is not inhibited in adhesion by the presence of water.
