Abstract
PURPOSE: The title detackifier having improved adhesiveness, to substrates, coating properties, and moderate releasability, soluble in solvents, comprising the reaction product between (a)a copolymer of maleic anhydride and a specific vinyl monomer and (b) an isocyanate.
CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising the reaction product between (A) a copolymer obtained from 10W50 mole % of maleic anhydride (a) and 90W50 mole % of one or more types of vinyl acetate (b) and alkyl (meth) acrylates (c) and (B) 0.2W1.0 equivalent based on the combined maleic anhydride of an isocyanate, e.g. octadecyl isocyanate, etc., and, if necessary, (C) a solvent. An alkyl methacrylate having a ≤4C alkyl group may be prefrably used as the (meth)acrylates (C).
