Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the consumption of a mobile contact of a ground switch and a fixed contact along with the electric field relaxing shield by arranging one contact on the conductor side of the charge section insulated in a sealed vessel and the other on the vessel side grounded. CONSTITUTION:A mobile contact 4 of a ground switch is connected to a link 7 in a field relaxing shield 5 of an electrode 2 on the fixed side of a breaker 1. The link 7 is pivotted on the electrode 2 and one end of an insulated control rod 8 is projected outside the sheath 1a and connected to a quick action control mechanism, for instance. The sheath 1a is fitted with a fixed contact from outside, to which an electric field relaxing shield 13 is fixed. By turning an output lever 10, an insulated control rod rotates at a high speed and the mobile contact 4 moves to the right through the link 7 whereby the disconnection control of the ground switch is performed at a high speed. By turning the lever 10 in the opposite direction, the mobile contact 4 is closed quickly. With such an arrangement it is possible to reduce the consumption of the two contacts 3 and 4 and the electric field relaxing shield 13.
