Abstract

PURPOSE: To make photographing and its image reproduction higher in speed by recording the image pickup signals by the elements of two-dimensional arrays providing both photoelectric conversion function and change transfer function in a magnetic tape via multichannel recording head.
CONSTITUTION: Light from the subject 1 enters the area sensor 3 of image pick-up element surfaces formed of charge coupled type semiconductor elements CCD of matrix form two-dimentional arrays and the elements CCD... generated the video signals corresponding to the luminances of picture elements as voltages. The voltages are drawn out simultaneously for each row of the matrix and time-serially for each column via the control circuit 6 which generates the horizontal synchronizing and vertical synchronizing signals. These are then drawn out as the frequency signals corresponding to the luminances by a signal conversion circuit 4 and become the television signals which are then applied to the respective heads of the multichannel magnetic head at each time series and are thereby recorded in a magnetic tape. Hence, instantaneous high speed photographing and high speed image reproduction wihtout using any film may be accomplished without using any intricate shutters such as of prism rotating system and other.
