Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce addition of agglutinant and energy in preparation of chemicals by saving water through control of the purifying water by computation with respect to inflow of digested sludge according to alkali level of the sludge flown in.
CONSTITUTION: Sludge is temporarily stored in a digestion tank 2 after degestion by a digestion tank 1. The alkali level of the sludge in the tank 2 is detected with a detector and the measured value is sent to a sampling device 12. After the measured value is asorted with a filter 13, the normal value of a given cycle alone is inputted to a function generator 14, with which the ratio of the purifying water volume to the sludge flowrate is computed and outputted. The value is inputted to a ratio setting device 15 for setting the ratio. The degested sludge in the storage tank is inducted to a mixing tank 3 through a flowmeter where the sludge is purified by an agitator 4 with control of the purifying water from the water supply side 19 by a computed value.
